Dr. Harvey Ham, DDS
Dr. Ham graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry in 1985. Upon graduation, he moved to Wilson, North Carolina and teamed with Dr. Bill Boles, Jr. with a goal of providing superior dental services.
Dr. Ham loves to learn and has extensive post-doctoral studies in cosmetic dentistry from the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies where he received theoretic and hands-on training and ultimately recognized as an LVI preferred dentist. Dr. Ham completed advanced training in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep apnea, and uses the FDA approved appliance, SomnoDent for the treatment of snoring and obstructive sleep apnea. Dr. Ham has earned his Fellowship in the International Congress of Implantologists and also administers therapeutic BOTOX and cosmetic Juvederm.
Dr. Ham is an exercise enthusiast, who has competed in several body building competitions. He also enjoys reading, cooking, gardening and fishing. His favorite spare time is rest and relaxation at the beach.
Community service is also a top priority as well for Dr. Ham. He is an active member at Peace Church and enjoys participating in the choir and drama team. His favorite ministry is the Peace Church Christmas Theater where he is involved in singing, acting, directing or helping wherever needed. He is married to the love of his life, Gail, and they have two children, Aleah and Brandon. One of Dr. Ham’s most enjoyable roles in life is that of being a “G-Diddy”, aka: Grandfather, to five adorable grandchildren.
Forrest ‘Scott’ Dixon DDS
Raised both in North Carolina and Oklahoma, Dr. Dixon is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in biology. He earned his DDS degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1994 and moved to Wilson in 1995.
Dr. Dixon embraces technological advances in the delivery of dental care such as Cerec all-porcelain restorations, and has been a leading provider of Invisalign metal-free orthodontics since 2003. Like Dr. Boles, Jr. and Dr. Ham, Dr. Dixon has earned his Fellowship in the International Congress of Implantologists.
Dr. Dixon invests himself in regular attendance of continuing dental education courses to remain informed of and trained in the latest advances and trends in the delivery of conservative, effective dental care.
Dr. Dixon recognizes that each patient is unique and different with his or her own wants and needs, and strives to provide compassionate, individualized care with the respect and attention as if providing for his own family.
Aside from dentistry, Dr. Dixon loves spending time with his wife Rebecca and two children, Claire and Ian. An avid reader and amateur gardener, he also enjoys travel, good food, sailing and days on the soccer fields.
Dr. Bill Boles, III
Dr. Bill Boles, III was born in Wilson, North Carolina and raised in Raleigh. One could argue that dentistry is in his DNA. Both his mother and father are dentists as well as his sister.
Dr. Boles, III attended UNC at Chapel Hill for his undergraduate studies. After 3 years, Dr. Boles, III was accepted early at UNC School of Dentistry and earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2003.
Dr. Boles, III is committed to providing outstanding dentistry in a comfortable and caring environment, and he truly cares about his patient’s experience in the dental chair. Dr. Boles, III has attended hundreds of hours in continuing education and is certified in CEREC, single appointment crown, restorations and is a certified Invisalign provider.
When Dr. Boles, III is not practicing dentistry and providing patient care, he loves spending time with his wife, two boys and playing tennis. He is also very active in First Presbyterian Church of Wilson having served as Deacon and sings in the church choir. Dr. Boles, III served on the Wilson County Board of Public Health and is past president of the Wilson County Dental Society. He has organized local Give Kids a Smile events and is active in the North Carolina Dental Society and the American Dental Association.
